Professional experience
Ciera Gainey is a Florida native and Co-founder of The Law Offices of Gainey & Gainey. She practices general civil litigation and specializes in defending premises liability and motor vehicle negligence cases. She is recognized by The National Black Lawyers organization as one of the top forty attorneys under the age of forty in the state of Florida. Before opening The Law Offices of Gainey & Gainey, Ciera held the title of Senior Partner at a notable trial law firm where she managed a high-volume caseload, legal staff, and associate attorneys. She was also the lead attorney as it pertained to client acquisition. As a result, client satisfaction, ethics, and efficiency are of the utmost importance in her legal practice. In addition to her defense experience, Ciera has worked as a Plaintiff’s attorney. Ciera’s prior experience gives her keen insight into how to evaluate claims, injuries, and treatment in personal injury cases.  Her elite skills permit her to negotiate aggressively, which often leads to early claim resolution. While early resolution is always the goal, Ciera also possesses impressive trial skills and does not shy away from the courtroom. National organizations and her peers have recognized Ciera as a strong advocate in the courtroom. Ciera possess the ability to present evidence and arguments in a compelling manner, and advocate for her clients best interests. While in law school, Ciera was hand-selected by the Honorable Stephanie Rayto be a judicial extern at the First District Court of Appeal in Tallahassee, FL. As a judicial extern, Ciera became familiar with Florida appellate practices and procedures by conducting legal research, preparing legal memoranda, and drafting case summaries on various civil issues. 
Presently, Ciera serves as a Board Member of the Jacksonville Bar Associations YLS, where she aids in several community service projects and mentors local high school students who aspire to become future lawyers. All in all, Ciera was born to litigate, and both her clients and peers remain highly impressed by her advocacy.
